Question Suzuki Ozark 250 2004

Hey I was just thinking about mounting some new tires on the rear of my Ozark(2x4), since the stock tires and getting a bit old and i get stuck a lot in the mud. Right now i am thinking about some 24inch mudlites on the back and keeping the fronts stock.

I was just wondering with the 24s on the back and stock 22s on the front will it have a decline slope while im riding it or will it not effect me much?

And one more question, i hear a lot about 250's losing a lot of power and not being able to turn the tires with anything bigger than 22's. With mounting the 24x11s on the back will I be able to turn them in the mud? I don't care about going 50mph on a trail but i wanna be able to at least turn them in the mud.

Any feedback is appreciated.

hmm i have an ozark. the only thing i dont like are the shocks. ground clearance is the biggest obstacle of mud. just get some swamp fox's on a 23 or 22 inch rim u will be fine.

They seem a bit heavy. Are they much better than the mud lites? I usually drive through some mud and muskeg if i'm feeling brave. Also, you say 23 or 22 inch tall, how wide should i go, stocks are 11inch wide.

u should just try to get them as close as ur original tires but with the different treads . u dont want to lose any push its just the initial traction u will get with the new tires that will save u unless u bottom out. i have a pro circuit t-4 pipe and jet kit with a k/n air filter as well. i have replaces my tires but rode with a guy with those on his. and the dig in great. was going to get them for mine from a friend and didnt pull the trigger. doh!

Yeah those look pretty sweet. The great thing is that they come in 9 inch rim size. The only thing im deciding on now is that the swamp fox's in the 22x10 size are 89$ each while the mudlites in 22x11 size cost 87$ and also weigh 4 pounds less each.
