I love how people take care of machines. Here is what is left of my swing arm bearing.
Plus a little more progress today.

I didn't give it a good look yet. I was just trying to get the suspension off the quad before it got too cold to work on today. It was ridden in this condition so I am betting that
it is going to be a bit rough and I'm in no rush to see that.

Just looked and yeah I have to dig out the old bearing remains. Should be a fun project. I'll just assume I need a new rod. It was in the parts pile and I didn't feel l like digging for it.

I would make sure everything and anything that's touching the bearings are new and tight. You don't want any slop in those needle bearings. They don't take load at angles very well.

Trolling CL I found a NOS Hood and headlight assembly. Just about set for
the body parts of the quad.

Just have to pull the engine this next week and get working on the leaking gaskets.

I finally got everything prepped on the quad and it is going in for Powder next week.

I am debating over the color though All white or Silver. I think the silver would look pretty nice with the white fenders and blue seat and decals. White might be more of a pain to keep clean though.

Got a local place that will do it for all for $350-ish in white and about $450-ish in silver.
