Default LT80 with no off-the-line power

Hey all, I just rolled out my sons LT80 to get ready to go to the desert and it has an issue I can't quite figure out.

Background:
It has motor and clutch work done by "LT80" and has run great in the past.
This quad used to peel out and would damn near do a wheelie when getting on the gas from a standing start... and now...

Symptoms:
Motor starts and idles fine (new gas and oil, clean filter).
When you hit the throttle it revs fine, but no power.
I had my son take a couple of trips up and down the road and it will eventually get going, and once the revs get up it almost seems like it kicks into a second gear, then takes off like a scolded ape.
If its on an incline it will barely get going, but it does get moving eventually.

Bottom line: It has power once it gets going, just no power to get off the line. No bottom end torque, but does have top end speed once it gets moving.

Does this sound like a motor/compression problem or a clutch problem?

I sent "LT80" an email but hopefully can get some suggestions here as well.

It could be either but........You need to service the clutchs for a trip to the dunes anyways...right??.
Get in there and see what's going on.

One Speed, (I know this is an old post) but did you ever find you problem?
Did it just need a clutch adjustment?

Same reply... get in there and see what's going on (maintenance).
Your going to find that in the front clutch, the grease has got hard and stopperd roller travel. All the rollers will be bad and possibly the variator and roller plate.
Or maybe a stuck rear clutch.
My money is on the front.
