I would try to find the smallest rear sprocket I could and decide on the front based off what I could find for the rear. I run 12/36 which is the same ratio as 13/39 but puts more power to the ground. With 18 inch tires, you might be able to run 13/36, but the 13 will suck up some power. Then again, its pretty easy to turn 18 inch tires so it may even out.

Im running Kenda AT22x11-9's and its got the stock 11/41. I think that ratio plus the big lugy tires makes it slow lol i want a set of low pros and 13/39's or something like that!

Yeah... 22 inch tires is like riding with the brakes on. I have 20s and wish I had gone with 18s. Actually, I might scrap the perfectly good 20s and get 18s lol

Power would be good, but you will wish you had a 6th gear. I always do.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. The ITP wheels I got were 4/115 so I picked up a set of Banshee hubs cheap and they fit perfectly on the axle of the 250s.

Really? Banshee hubs fit the stock axle? Need to make note of that.

Yeah, basically. I have 20s with 12/36, which is the same ratio as 13/39... its a 1/3 ratio. 11/33, 12/36, 13/39 are all 1/3 ratios

I didn't tighten them down since my quad is all in pieces waiting to get powdered, but it looks like they will snug up on the stock axle for a perfect fit. There are some nice extended hubs I might eventually get to widen the back end up a bit.

As long as there is no play in the splines or the nut will back off and strip the splines.
