I just replaced my battery on my 92 suzuki's lt230e quadrunner and I think my starter solenoid may be bad? It won't start with the push button no clicking or anything but u can arch acrossed the solenoid and it will engage the starter plus when the motor is in idle the headlight and the neutral or reverse lights with flicker but as u give it throttle the lights go dim or if its off an u turn the key I on the green light won't come on until u start it.. Is the starter solenoid the problem? It's the factory one so its old

 

It just seems like there's a problem maybe somewhere else to. I've not had a battery in it for quite some time year or so just pull started it but the neutral or reverse lights or head light would always be dim then disparate after idling higher! I figure well since there's no battery it's probley not getting enough juice, but I bought a new battery and even when I turn the key on the green light should come on but it doesn't so I'm not sure what it boils down to. Any help would be appreciated!!
