I have a 1995 Quad Runner 250 2wd and I have tried to put a new spark plug in and drained the fuel.

Exact same symptoms. Sometimes during a cold start it will sputter when given gas. Idles fine. Even if I let it warm up it will occasionally do it. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesnt. This is what made me think it could be a fuel issue. I have attached my YouTube video that I took that shows you guys what it is doing.

Once it gets over those few hiccups it seems to run just fine. Idles fine, plenty of power. Just occasionally this happens.

I don't have a real big knowledge on motors and things like that but I was curious what you guys thought. I've seem a lot of threads on pilot jets being clogged and cleaning the carb. Would this be symptoms of that issue? Or could it be a fuel line clogged.

Any help or insight is greatfully accepted.

 

Did you figure out the problem? Mine is doing the exact same thing any help would be appreciated.
