I recently purchased a used 05 z400. I started looking into buying a new cdi, and after hours of trying to figure out if I need to buy one for an 03-04 or the correct one for an 05. I think my 05 has the wrong cdi on it.

I verified the age using the tenth digit in the s/n which is a (5) and the numbers on the cdi are (MGT057) and (F8T39273), it is the cdi with the wide plug. The wiring harness is not cut or hacked on, and looks to be factory.

Any help verifying would be appreciated.
