Default LT250r Wont start

I just finished restoring my 1986 Suzuki lt250r, and I have one problem... it wont start. I received the motor saying that it was in running condition and was babied. I checked for compression, has plenty. Is getting tons of gas, carb was just one through. The spark is literally crackling, so it has tons of spark. I just pulled magneto off and checked timing, timing was right on the money. At this point I don't really understand why it wont start. Any ideas, they only thing not stock or different is that I removed the headlight assembly. There wasn't any wiring in there that could mess up with the kill switch or something was there? Thanks any help is appreciated.

Okay well I now got it to fire just a little for about 4 seconds then It quit on me. Fired right up second time and then just quit again. Now it wont start and is blowing air out of carb, while sucking it in, so I am thinking that the reed valve is bad now. Any ideas?

Reed valve sounds like you're on the right track.
under the carb on 86
choke it and make sure the gas shut off valve is functioning.
Good luck. Wish I had more for you.

Sorry i got it running haha, the reeds were stuck open and what i did is try to clean them out without removing the head. So i managed to get it to fire by ummmmm..... pulling it behind a truck in 1:1 gear so i turned over alot more than kicking it and after about 200 feet it fired and run great. Ran it around for a while cleaned it out and now it starts on first kick everytime. Thanks for your help

You can still have it haha, its restored and i was gonna sell it, everything is brand new except for the motor which is original with literally 30 or less hours on it. Opened it up to check it out still new.
