is a little more then 1000 miles a lot for a 1995 king quad?

NO,1000 miles for a 95 is very low miles.I have a 99 450es with 3000mi,and a 97 polaris with 2000mi.I think you need to get out there and do some more riding on the king!

 

Not bad at all. You're almost ready to take the bolts out of the muffler and clean the spark arrester. Two hundred more miles you can also check the valve clearance, diff. oil level, brake hoses, brake fluid level, etc. That's what the manual says, it's time to check those things.
My '99 KQ has as many miles as yours.
