2006 Vinson LT-A500F carburetion issue
#11
Okay, so I believe I have the resolution although it has not been trail-tested.
I talked to a friend to had me call his favorite mechanic - Harley shop and talk to the mechanic/owner. He told me there was no room for the quad their shop this time of year, but drop the carb off, being I had it out of the machine anyway, so I did.
A few days later he said that every looked perfectly fine, but he up'd the idle/pilot jet from a 35 to 38, take it home, try it out and let him know what happens. Machine fires right up and idles fine with the choke off now!!!!! He charged me only for the jet he replaced to the tune of less than $5.00, if you can believe that.
I ran it around the neighborhood and everything 'seems' just fine.
Problem resolved, I think. (But not trail tested as of yet)
