Hi, sorry im sure this is a dumb question but i cant figure it out and i am not a suzuki guy. This guy is selling a 2003 Suzuki quad sport 400 on craigslist with a blown motor. Is that the same thing as the Ltz 400? or is that a different quad? Thanks.

Its the ATV that dethroned the Honda 400ex. It has the same motor as the DRZ400 on-off motorcycle which is still the top selling on-off after 12years.

Not only is Quadsport the same as the LTZ400 but the (now extinct) Kawasaki KFX400 and Arctic Cat DVX400 are also the same ATV with different branding. That engine package has seen a lot of use since its introduction!

 

ive owned both and still like the 400ex a little better. it was supposed to dethrone the 400ex but look which one is still being sold.

Either way im happy with it I only paid $325 for it and a $300 top end kit with new cylinder and piston and its good to go. Killer deal of you ask me. Ill make a good profit on it and I brought another quad back to life
