LT230 case assembly question
I've got the case split and transmission removed to fix an issue with the transmission the PO caused when he assembled it.
My question is what case half do you assemble the crank and transmission into when reassembly the engine. The service manual shows it to be the left half and indicates that "it is necessary to pull it's left end into the crankcase" referring to the crank. I just want to make sure.
A fork shaft (fork shaft No. 2 per the manual) remains inserted into the right half of the crankcase. It's not moving. How do I remove this? A little heat?
