89 suzuki lt500r

I have a 89 lt500 and im have light issues the lights will only work when the engine is at a high rpm when at idle lights dont work any info would be grate

Could be a weak regulator or as Ricky Stator says this was a common issue on lighting coils.Ricky Stator - Products
