pins look all good, i got three wire harnesses so before deciding the one i was going with i did a continuity test on all wires front to back. a far as the red wire goes it was not in any of the wire schematics nor were the other set by air box the one in the front im guessing is to the head light only plug left, only thing i have not hooked up do to wires being chopped. and both sets have continuity to the rear brake light

The link I provided might help you identify some of the parts your looking for...the correct "names" that is. But you may have to look at an ATV salvage yard to find the parts or....improvise.

You will need to do the resistance checks on the various componants....and there are checks for everything other than the CDI.....prove everything else is good...then that would indicate the CDI is faulty.....

Okay i worked all that out. Now i got it turning over and getting spark. Now i can not get it to start. I cleaned the carb put a rebuild kit in it, still no start. I took the carb out my own quad that i know runs just fine, put it in no change. i did get it to spudder for a min right after getting it to fire. i had to pump the gas and then hold it wide open to get it to do that. thus the carb clean and rebuild. tried again and it backfired so i pulled the plug it was fouled and it was flooded. left the plug out for about an hr and a half burned off the plug put it back in and tried again no chance.
