2007 King Quad 700
Hi All,
First time poster here. There's an auction in my neck of the woods for a 2007 KQ 700 that's a Bank Repo. I grew up on a farm with an early 90's King Quad and that thing was absolutely bulletproof. Are they still that way?
Anyway, this one runs and rides with 593 miles/187.8 hours. Unit has an aftermarket VDI Copperhead ECU installed. It does come with the factory ECU as well. The engine was apparently hard to start. It has a winch and a plow, I would probably use neither of those things.
Any idea what this is worth? Also any idea what may have caused the hard to start? I'm going to go look at it tomorrow morning to get a better feel. Any insight would be appreciated. Auction ends the 11th.

Here's what NADA says its worth 2007 Suzuki LT-A700XK7 KingQuad Prices and Values - NADAguides. I didn't add the winch and plow, that would probably add a few hundred dollars more to the value. It does have really low miles, that might add a little more to the value as well.

The low charge rate problem was made worse by the ECU taking power when the bike is switched off, so a non standard ECU may be better. There is a tiny filter in the injector which can block and lead to poor starting. Also the throttle position sensor is adjustable, but may be best left to an expert.
The anti roll bar pulls the frame apart at the mountings, but this only affects machines used hard, towing, carrying heavy loads on the rear rack, etc.

I considered buying a 700 a couple years ago when I decided on another Grizzly 660 instead. The quad on craigslist had about 1000 miles on it and a winch and they were asking $3000 for it. I can't remember what year it was though, I think it was a 2005 or 2006 so basically the same as buying a 2007 now. With all the issues the Grizzly had, I wish I had drove the extra distance to go buy it as it was about a 2 hour drive one way to go look at it. In hindsight, it would have been a much better value.
