Suzuki Ozark clutch removal ??

Can't say for certain, I must admit I don't like it when cases try to spring apart. You will have to adjust the new clutch anyway so back the adjuster off, and see if the springiness goes.

The adjuster is backed out all the way. At rest, the case looks closed. But, to really push the surfaces together, I do have to push them in and if I let go, it will come back a slight amount and it only happens on the side towards the rear of the machine. The front part of the cover rests closed. I'll probably take the cover off and just double check. I feel good about every other part of the procedure, so I am not sure why this won't sit nicely.
When I removed the cover, the back part was no sweat and there was a nice gap before the front would let go.

Thanks for all the help. I got it all back together last week and it was running great. The clutch was grabbing great, but it is now slipping again. Is this a break in period? Is it common to have to then re-adjust it after you ride it a bit? Thanks.

I haven't found that you need to adjust often after fitting. Some engine oils apparently are unsuited to use with "wet" clutches. Are you using oil suitable for motorcycles? Adjust right away as, if you glaze them, the plates will have to come out and be de-glazed.
