I just put 28” mudzillas on my 04 Suzuki Eiger 400. They don’t rub at all right now but I’ve got a 2” lift coming for it and when I got to looking closer at the front tires I noticed the bar that runs from the frame to the foot board is barely under the center line of the tire. I’m afraid once I put the lift on, that bar will end up being dead center of the tire and causing the tire to run against it. I was wondering if anyone has ever modified that bar in order to clear the tires. The only two options I can think of at this point is to either notch the bar ( which would weaken the support) or cut the floor board back and make a longer mounting tab for the frame. I’d like to hear some more options though.
