After changing oil/filling sump with oil on my 99 King Quad, no oil appears in the sight glass. However, the machine starts and runs good. Any idea what would cause this and what the solution might be? DJBKB9

 

You haven't put enough oil in to show on the glass. I hate sight glasses, they get dirty inside and you can't see the oil level, take a while for the oil to show when you are filling, so you add more, and then have too much. Dipsticks are a much better idea.
