Has anyone heard of any new suzuki prototypes? In the August 2000 issue of DirtWheels on page 8 they say spies have told them that Suzuki is making prototype of a new High-Performance quad. Has anyone heard anymore on this

 

SUZUKI IS GOING TO RELEASE 6 NEW MODELS FOR 2002, THEY HAVE TOLD US THAT ATLEAST ONE OF THEM WILL BE A SPORT QUAD (THANK HEAVENS AND PLEASE MAKE IT ROCK). THEY ARE NOT GIVING OUT ANY OTHER PARTICULARS UNTIL JULY SOMETIME WHEN THEY DO A FULL RELEASE. I HAVE HEARD "RUMORS" OF A 500CC+ FOUR STROKE MONSTER BUT AS I SAID THAT IS A RUMOR.

 

i read in 3 different places that the sport quad was going to be the LT400F, but these werent confirmed sources, lets keep our hopes up!

 

my suzuki dealer told me a couple weeks ago that the factory rep told him that the new sport quad was ready for production but they had'nt decided what plant to build it at yet, it is suppose to be a 400 he said. i told him if they did'nt hurry up that they was going to force be to buy a honda.

 

It is the LT400f doug Gust is racing the prototype and winning with it it is one bad *** quad

 

i'm not sure if its the lt400f he just said they were going to use the same engine that is on their 400 dirt bike. i was at the suzuki shop today and he said they will know for sure in june when they have some kind of meeting.

 

Without going back to the latest news on the new Suzuki models, I thought they announced a new sport quad and the LT400F which is going to be a utility quad. Two completely different quads. Anyone feel like looking? I'm too lazy to get out of my chair.

 

That quad Doug Gust is racing is built by Walsh Racecraft and Hinson Racing. I do not think that Suzuki has anything to do with it. If you look at the machine, it is basically a 250R style chassis with a Suzuki motor in it.
