Lt80 gasket

Default Lt80 gasket


Evening

quick question. Just refitting the carb on the lt80. Is there a rubber seal that goes between the inlet and manifold ?

between reed cage and insulator block ?

The reed cage (pic) has the rubber made into it. Yours is fine.
Next would be the black plastic piece (called a insulator) and o-ring (which I hold in with grease), then carb.
Been mudding eh. LOL

Can't keep the kids out of it....

there was bits of seal hanging out of it, so iBook it all out.. time for a new one

You dug the seal out of the reed cage?

Yer ..... some of it was hanging out so cleaned the rest out.. not sure if I can get an o'ring to fit or just order a new one

So no confusion. I think you'll need a complete new (or used) reed cage.

Just got a price £65 is there a gasket between that and the block will order one while I'm at it cheers

YES. Read my first reply. You need the insulator and the o-ring that goes in it.
