Default LT80 spark wire assembly

Hello,
Reaching out for more help.
Replacing coil, new coil has spark wire attached which screws into plastic spark plug cap. Question is...in the cap there is a brass screw that holds in the carbon conductor, is there a spring or ball between brass screw and conductor to hold the conductor so it doesn't rattle???

In an old post I found that Mr. LT80 recomends using spark plug cap/boot NGK part# TB05EMA.
Did I read that correctly, and is this cap a direct replacement? THX all for all the knowledge this forum provides.

No activity on this post so I'll drop the topic after this.

As LT80 suggested in prior posts, I bought plug NGK BPR7HIX $7.29 gapped to .025 and plug cap NGK TB05EMA $7.99. Bought locally, Cheaper online.
ATV runs great.

Sorry, Like you prolly know now, that cap utilizes the screw on piece on the end of the plug.

New spark parts worked perfectly. ATV ran great until this weekend and grandson came here and couldn't start it. I checked spark through plug still good. Checked compression and it's barely 30lbs. I hope it's only gaskets and not the nice rebuilt top end. THX for helping LT80.

Default 28lbs compression

Yep the compression is definitely under 30lbs, DARN IT. Son finally came back to town so we tore into it. Piston just slips in the cylinder, no resistance at all. So I guess rings and/or bore are shot. My mic only reaches an inch in from top and the cyl is 1.9780 in. Not sure if that's ok or not. LT80, Do you remember how much over the top end setup I got was? I'm wondering if I could get away with hone the bore and new rings just to get Grandsons to his first 2020 race on Jan 5? What do you think? Also, I once read a post about burning out the tail pipe, any thoughts or advice on doing this, does it help? I'd like an after market pipe but too pricey.

Happy New Year too all and thanks for all the help and support from this forum.

Is there a number on the top of the piston? A .5 or 1.0??
1.9 would appear to be stock bore (50mm). No number on top of piston.

I'll look at piston closer tomorrow afternoon. Ran out of time and warmth. But I'm sure It wasn't stock.
