Default Suzuki LT80 need help

Just picked up this suzuki lt80 on trade when you hit the electric start there's a clanking ringing noise for the starter flywheel (I'm guessing that's what it is) looks like the starter is not making enough contact to spin anything over. Need to know if this is put together right or what might be causing it. The flywheel also just spins if that helps.

The LT80 is extremely unusual in having an old fashioned bendix type starter set up, like most cars had until the 1980s. When the starter motor starts to turn, it "throws" the gear out, which engages with the big gear on the crankshaft. So, if the big gear isn't tuning, the bendix mechanism is stuck. If the big gear is turning but crank isn't, the gear's key has sheared on the crankshaft.

Okay so I took it all apart to see if I could see what was happening the start was barely hitting the flywheel. Also if possible could someone send me pictures of how everything is supposed to go are a diagram of how everything goes to make sure I have all the parts and and also a picture of the flywheel or starter gear whatever it's called so I can make sure it's not broken?

Fairly certain it is broken. The two parts you show in the first new picture, should be one part. The weld/braze/whatever, that held them together has failed. See exploded parts book drawing https://www.suzukipartshouse.com/oem...d7c/crankshaft for details.
