front shocks on LT250R are Terrible!!!!!!
#1
i went to the gravel pit with a bunch of friends and my bro. we had our skid steer down there and made this HUGE step up double! it was about 4th gear wide open. well right when id hit the jump, my skid plate would bottom out at the top and bottom of the jump, then also when i would land! i did a heel clicker and got shot sideways at the top of the jump cause i bottemed out. its already got an extended axle and im gonna get some 2+1 a-arms and works triple rate's with rezzies. then i'll be able to bust my no-footed can can. i can't wait. anyone else's front shocks suck on the Lt???

well i found this place that has them and on the chart it said yes, but if i can't get them, how do you guys like your dual rates with rezzies??? my LT is a 86, what is the difrence in the years, cause i always see them for 85-86, 87-90, 91-92 or something like that. i would really like some triples though. later

i have works dual rates with no rezzies on mine. their pretty good i've never bottomed it. but then again i've never had my quad more than 4 feet in the air. (i have on buddies quads though). have u tried any of the other shock companys? i know both axis and pep make triple rates. i think ohlins might too. elka makes cool shocks but their triple rates aren't out yet and TCS has triple rates too i think and they use parts from works shocks.

I bought Works dual rates, and I don't think they are much better than stock, they don't bottom out as easy, but it would take allot for me to bottom out the stock ones. I am 190 lbs and I ride pretty agressively, I don't race but I do ride a local MX practice track (that costs more than racing). I guess I could lighten the prelaod by moving the top shim up a few notches.
