Blown 2002 LT50 !!!!!
#1
I am taking my 3 year old daughters LT back to the dealer tomarrow because I think that the piston or cylinder or both are scored. I has about 30 Min of ride time and now when I start it it runs for about 5 mins and quits. Then it will not start and is very hard to pull. After 30 mins it will start but 5 mins later same thing. It also seems to be down on power.
They better cover this, she is only 40 lbs!
It has only been around the house about 10 times!!
I thougth these things were made for constant abuse well not abuse but constant riding!
Anybody else had this problem?
I will keep you posted

I'm sure the warranty will cover it. However you might check a few things. I would wonder if one of the restrictors were malfunctioning. Probablly not the throttle, but maybe the carb or exhaust restrictors may not be working correctly. You might check these and even take them out before you give up. These are usually very durable little machines. Let me know what you find out.
