won't idle

first problem i have had . I have a 86 lt250r it ran great and idled great now it wont idle and seems to load up real bad. I have a fmf pipe and uni clamp on filter. what should i have for jetting? I know it has a 260 main in it I dont know about the rest. the book shows 210 main is stock. it revs on top fine once it cleans out.

You need to change jetting with that pipe and filter. The main should be OK , try lowering the jet needle by raising the E-clip to the second groove from the top. Stock it comes in the middle groove.

Change your plug also. Like Pro~ said, raise your clip will lean it out alitle on bottom end. Most times it's the weather/temp/season changes that causes the problems your having.

Do these things:
Clean your filter & reoil
Change your plug
Clean your carb
Raise your needle after doing the above steps.
