Hi again, lol
Its getting to be that time to order some oem odds and ends for the racer. Where do you guys go? I know for honda, theres a web site that has a place to type in part #'s and get prices, and they offer pretty good discounts compared to the normal dealer. Are there any suzuki websites like this? My local dealers, are either 30-45mins away, arent too cheap and a pain if you need some hardware or small stuff. I'd feel like and idiot drivin that far for some nuts and bolts lol. Thanks guys.

I also have an '88 Quadzilla and it used to eat parts for breakfast (poor previous upkeep). The dealers put a heck of a markup on all the oem parts they sell. My brother is now a mechanic at a Yamaha/Suzuki dealership and gets me these parts for 1/3 -1/2 the price. However, without an "inside guy" your best bet is to go with the places advertised in the atv magazines. If you can't get the part you need aftermarket (which are usually cheaper and better quality in my experience), check out the oem suppliers in those mags.

There is at least 20% to be had off the dealer cost. I just walked into a shop the other day that had the shoei helmet I wanted, the price was 540.00 and I walked out with it for 415.00 and I had never bought anything at this place before. Never be afraid to to haggle with your dealer on parts. If you need some little odds and ends and don't need them that day then call either YSA in arizonia, or National Parts Depot, the depots # is 888-780-8544, and Ysa is in my other book but I do believe they advertise in the mags if you can't find it though hit me back and I will get it for you. I have used both of these places alot and they will both haggle on price. If you use the Depot ask for Shawn he is real familiar with the Zilla's because I damn near ordered a complete Zilla worth of parts from him. However YSA seems to stock more items for the ZIlla, so give both places a yell.

I work near YSA and go there all the time. Their mail order (read: discount desk) desk number is 602-867-7188. I think there is an 800 number, but as I live in Phoenix I have no need for that number. Like PENNZILLA did with his place, I just about ordered my entire 500 from YSA. The mail order guys are kind of dopey sometimes. Ask for Montana as he has never screwed up my order.

hi i also needed some suzuki OEM parts. so i took down all these numbers. Heres a list of oem discount places.

midwest action cycle= 1-800-343-9065
suzuki genuine= 1-800-860-0686
national parts depot= 1-888-780-8544
international cycle supply= 1-800-582-8646
east coast atv= (215)529-4632
suzuki wholesale= 1-877-797-2453
discount part prices= 1-800-359-0567

the best thing i would is call all these places and get prices. All the prices are differant. I remember when i needed some parts i got 346 one place and 229 another. well hope this helps.
