Zilla front spindle?

Hi all,
Wondering 2 things...
Are the front spindles compatible between the 250 and 500? I dont think they are but look simaler.
If they are or not, does anybody have a left one for an '88 zilla? I'm still painting and cleaning and its pretty severly bent and I bet it wouldnt give much of a safe ride leaving it on.
