I have a Suzuki LT125E 1984 model. Don't laugh, but I only use it for hunting. My question for anyone is, will a LT185 motor bolt in and are there any mods that I need? Also if the motors are interchangable, will the coil and CDI also work. Any help would be appreciated as a 185 would work better for my use. I had an lt185 a few years ago. The motor was pretty powerful for a smaller frame it had. I'm about 99% sure that the lt125 and lt185 motors are identical, except for bore. So they should be interchangeable. But maybe someone can say for 100% sure.

 

Thanks, do you know about the carb. Was it the same size too?
