I've had my fan back-ordered since 7/16!!!! My dealer has really let me down on this one. I've called four times and each time the parts person promises to call their distributor and get back to me. This is definitely going to be my last purchase there. I had to put $154 down at the time of order. Can you believe it?

If you get your fan quickly, please let me know. I'll cancel my order and order through your guy.

Hi guys, It's been a long time. I didn't remember this problem right away so I had to read from the beginning to catch up.
I don't think you can make a mistake by purchasing a fan, even if it is a high priced Suzuki fan. Let us know how the installation turns out.

I just checked with my dealer and my fan is also backordered. I mentioned to him that yours had been backordered since July. He said that he would check on the approximate wait and get back to me.

 

Mark - My dealer just called me with the expected shipping date on the fan. It isn't due to be shipped until October 21st. I'm leaving it on order as my dealer has been straight with me. He didn't even ask for a downpayment.

I hope mine comes in that time frame. I ended up calling my dealer and he said that he now has two back ordered.

I agree with Chuck about the value of the fan. I had some overheating problems this past summer at an ATV Jamboree in June. When I took the seat off, I could hear the gas boiling. I believe that if I had had the fan, that wouldn't have happened.

I think Chuck once told me that he built one himself and mounted it. Is that right Chuck?

Yep! I purchased a fan from Northern Catalog and installed it myself. But I think, you probably will have a easier installation with the manufacturers part. This time of year, you have time to allow the dealer to get fans while your quads run cool without.

I just called my dealer and still no cooling fan. Please check with your dealer and see if I could call him and order one from him. If so, I may cancel my order locally and give your guy a call.
