engine swap
#1
I am in the process of putting a LT185 motor into a LT125 frame. I have been told that they will interchange without any modifications. My questions are:
Will the LT 125 carb work?
Will the LT125 coil and CDI work?
And do I need to keep the LT125 sprockets and chain?
This quad is only being used for light utility work and hunting, as I am going to put front and rear racks on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok i'm gonna tell u what i know
My uncle did this and the engines bolted right up except a few didn't so they just didn't use them. Its still fine then. I would use the 185 carb since thats what its jetted for. since they are both Zuki's the 125 coil and cdi should work. I would use the 1855 front sprocket and 125 back sprocket. Hope this helps.
