2002 Suzooks!

Bought the September issue of Dirtwheels mag, and they have a first look at the "Vinson", and the "Eiger" The Eiger has the same motor as the AC 375 as you all know by now. The Eiger has a M.S.R.P. of $5299 for the manual, and $5599 for the auto. The Vinson replaces the Quadmaster 500. It has increases in compression, and a larger 36mm keihin carb. They dropped the Quadmaster 500, the LT 160, and the LT 250 2wd.

<< Why would you even by those new quads? There is just so much more to offer at the same price or better >>
The Vinson is $400 cheaper than a rubicon or sportsman and in there class. It offers everything the Ruby does plus looks better.(that is subjective) Why not buy it if you want a 500c.c. machine?
The Eiger manual is in the same price range as the Big Bear and the Rancher. It has more c.c than the rancher w/ selectable 4X4. Sounds like it could be a winner.
The Eiger auto is cheaper than the 400 Prairie and Kodiak. It's air cooled though, but it offers selectable 4X4. I think Suzuki is headed back in the right direction with these new offerings.

That is what you said. I was just pointing out that in fact the Suzukis are cheaper in price and offer the same type features. Auto,Switchable 4X4 etc... Yes I think the Honda Tranny is better than any belt drive except for the repair/replace factor. I was simply replying to your incorrect first post about the whole price/features issue. I never said they are trend setting, Just cheaper and comparable/competitive.
