What do you think of the EX? Have you got it yet? If you have how many times have you tired to kickstart it? Compare it to the LT since you have had both.

I don't think the 400EX doesn't have kick start.

hey slinger, yeah i've had my 400 for almost 3 weeks now. and no it doesn't have a kickstart and i'm glad it doesn't because i've kicked over a few fourstrokes in my life and i don't like it compared no the way my lt kicked.
anyways heres what i like better than the LT
1. its new so every1 thinks good things about even if they don't know about fourwheelers.
2. its super reliable. my lt was always broken but i expect this to have very few problems.
3. low end power. its great being able to pop wheelies on demand unlike my lt which required a clutch drop in any gear besides first.
4. suspension. even though my LT had works all the way around it was old and needed to be rebuilt. the supspension on the 400 is nice and cushy but i need to adjust it so its softer.

ok now heres what i don't like about it compared to my lt.
1. ITS SLOW!!!! its sooo slow and boring compared to my lt. maybe it was just the 2 stroke powerband but it gets boring riding this one. and its so slow that i constantly find myself trying to shift up another gear but there isn't one (and it isn't a case of being used to a 6 speed because my LT was a 5 speed). i'm always disapointed when i'm topped out and i can't go any faster.
2. its heavy. i mean its not bad and i can throw it around good but i miss the way my lt felt. especially in the air. if i mess up a jump its hard to correct in the air. and tricks are a lot harder to do on the 400.
3. air cooled. this engine gets HOT! i know i'm losing a lot of power from it too and i occasionally burn myself. and after i'm done riding it takes hours too cool down enough to spray water on it and not have steam come out (i know thats bad for the engine when its hot)
4. the seat isn't quite as comfy.

well thats about it i guess. a lot of people say i really ripped off the insurance company good gettin that crappy old LT stolen and get this "awesome" new 400EX. well i disagree, while theres many great things about the 400 it will never be the bike my lt was (well maybe one day). and a lot of people say oh man it must be great having a quad that handles like a dream after having that crappy handling quadracer. well i disagree there too. you just have to know how to ride the lt right. i'm more than used to 400EX's i've been riding them since they were brand new. and i garantee i can get a faster lap time around a track on my lt if the guy on the 400 is an equal rider. the 400EX is more of a quad where it takes more railing around corners and the LT takes a delicate mix of sliding and railing...well if you have anymore questions let me know. oh yeah check out the picks of it in my yahoo photo album...the adress is in my profile and in my signature.

I meant that as a joke. I know the EX has no kickstart, but I figured you have looked down for it a couple of times out of habit.
