Building Launch Ramp, ? for juggalo
I have been motivated to build a launch ramp for my 400ex. I dont trust my welding enough so I am going to use 2x4 for the frame. For the surface I will problly stagger 4 layers of 1/4'' plywood. I was wondering how much bracing under the ramp i am going to need. Juggalo, I saw your pics of the ramp and it likes like there isnt much under the ramp for support, but I guess the metal flexes some.
I was going to build the frame very similar to yours and about the same size ramp. Are 2X4's strong enough to where I can build the frame like yours and it would be plenty strong? I was thinking about putting more bracing in the middle of the ramp. Thanks for the help!
Also how do you keep it from sliding foward or tipping over when u hit it?
