I made one for a bike work. It was pretty easy and didn't take too long. I can send you some pictures and diagrams if you want.

I believe that the one being sold on rockymountainatv is probably a more sturdy unit however.

Sorry, but bicycle speedometers don't work, especially on a Zilla. It won't give you an accurate reading.

How can you say something like that? Not only do you not know, but your reasoning has no meat to it. Bicycle speedometers work just fine, no matter if they are mounted on a Quadzilla or not. The Quadzilla part has nothing to do with it. The circumference of a wheel and the distance between the magnet and the pickup are the only things the speedo cares about. If you get those two things right, the speedo will work great.

Bombanshee my offer still stands. I have about 700 miles on my quadzilla since I put the speedo on and have had zero trouble with it. If you side with ltracerx that is fine, good luck to you.

Sorry, I guess I was wrong, but 3 people have told me that a bicycle speedomoeter won't work right, I guess I got some bad info. So I can put one on my ATC250R without it malfunctioning? How much did it cost?

The one I use on mine is a fancier one by Specialized for $40. It tells you the time, time actually moving, average speed, max speed, distance traveled, odometer, and whether or not your average speed is increasing or decreasing via an arrow.

I purchased a Wal-Mart el-cheapo speedo for my wife's 400EX. It doesn't do all the neat things mine does, but it does tell the time, speed, and distnce traveled. I think that one cost me $20.

ltracerx, yes this type of set up will work on an ATC.

Well, what is the difference in the one at rockymountain for 69.00 or the bicycle one for 40.00?
