LT250 rear shock
#1
I was looking at the Works "heart transplant" for the rear shock on the LT250 and was wondering if anyone had used it and what you thought. Would the rear shock work well with this rebuild for mostly dunes, desert, and mountain trails? I'm by no means a racer and dont jump very big since my Mojaves suspension isnt the best.
I would be using Works dual rates w/rezzies up front.

Howdy,
As I said in the other thread, I have the Works Heart Transplant. It is an improvement over stock. Mine had it done before I bought it, and now is probably pushing 4 or 5 yrs old. I have a freind with stock fronts and rear on his 86 and you can realy tell a diference. My rear spring is sagging pretty good but its still better than his. I think I'll change to somthing aftermarket this winter(If I don't sell the racer first). I would defenately go with new fronts if I were you. I had my front stockers on while I had my Dual rates w/rezzies rebuilt, I hated them and couln't wait to get the Works back under it. I don't think you can beat them for the price.
If the rear isn't in too bad of shape, I don't see anything wrong with the heart transplant for the riding you mentioned. Its alot cheaper than a new shock too.
