Has any king quad owners ever had a clicking noise coming from the front of their quad while in 4wd only and either coasting or during engine breaking? If I get on the gas the noise goes away, but then as I let off I start hearing it again. It is fairly faint and almost sounds like it is trying to shift gears or something.

 

If that's the case, can you lift the quad off the ground by floor stands, etc., to get the wheels up and put it in gear? Maybe you will be able to get a feel for where the noise is coming from exactly. Remember to lift all four wheels. Then come back here and tell us what you find.
