First off, I didnt get the 250r like I planned. I didnt actually see the thing until a few days ago and when I did my heart sank. It had the crap beaten out of it and it would have cost me thousands to get it into good shape. So instead I got a 230 quadsport. Theres no comparison between the two I know and Im a little bummed but its in great shape and not a bad little quad.

Anyway, I need to know how to adjust the front suspension. Ive already stiffened the rear suspension and need to set up the front.

Also, is there a good place on the internet describing riding techniques?

What all was wrong with the QR? Sometimes we over look the simple things and get discouraged before we really see what they would need. When I picked up mine for $500 I was a little worried too, it was so dirty that you could barely see the engine and you couldnt see the top or sides of the swingarm at all. The rear fender was laced together with zip ties and the hood was held in place with wire rather than the screws. I too was a little nervous after I made the purchase but after its clean (really clean) I feel like I found a great deal. I guess its to late since you all ready bought another quad though.

Now, I think the front shocks can only be adjusted for preload. Compression and rebound arent even adjustable on the '85-'86 LT's (maybe the rest of them too?). Good luck with your new quad, my friend has one and its a nice quad, electric start, reverse, and decent power. I'm sure you'll be happy with it, Aaron.

Well, if you go into the ATV racing catagory and put your settings so you can go back a ways, there's usually good tips in there on jumping, wheelies, powerslides, etc... although it might take awhile to find all those topics. Other than that, I can't think of any anywhere else at the moment.
