well from my experience of wiring up a kill switch on a banshee and my LT, there should be two wires coming out of the switch. if so, then you need to connect these wires together to complete the circuit. just strip back a little of the insulation on each wire (dont break the wire!) and tie them together with another peice of electrical wire. either that or you could put another 'on/off' switch in between the wires. On a kill switch, the engine fires when the circuit is broken. with the key switches i think it fires when the ciruit is complete, ie joining those wires together. hope that helps

Yeah, do what Aussiezilla said. When I got my 500 it didn't even have the key switch on it, just the kill switch on the handle bars. I plan to get one though....

I dont know if its the same on the LT's but the key switch on the Mojaves will work with it being disconnected. I think its called a grounded switch. Anyways, try disconnecting it and see what happens, it works on the Mojaves and I bet the LT is probably the same. Good luck, Aaron.

It's the same way with LT's. If the ground is not grounded, then it will run. So, just cut the ground (black wire).
