A-arm bearings and ect.

I have a 91' suzuki lt250r
For those of you who wanted to know what I was going to do about my A-arm bearings and stuff, I found pivot works A-arm bearing kits for them at rocky mountain atv (www.rockymountainatv.com) They come with everything I needed in upper and lower kits, about $53 a kit. A kit has everything for both a-arms depending upon what kit you buy, upper or lower. So I ordered both kits upper and lower today, about $106 plus shipping and I ordered a couple other things. I want to put grease zurks in them if possible with the new bearings. Does anyone have tips for doing that?
thanks,
chuck

I didn't know that the stock a-arms on LT250R's don't have grease zerks, this means that you would have to take the a-arms off to grease the bearings, i plan on getting one in the next year or so, so this is something i need to consider, how hard is it to get them installed on the stock a-arms, can you buy aftermarket a-arms for Qracers with zerks on em?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It takes about 1/2 and hours to completely disasemble lube and reasemble the a-arms on QR250. It would probably take an extra hour or so to put the zerks on a stock set. Yes there are companies that make aftermarket arms

Hey Chuck,
I ordered the same bearings yesterday for my 89 Quadracer. I was wondering if you've figured out how to remove the old bearings yet? The old ones seem to be pressed in but I'm not sure. I was hoping the kits would come with instructions. I'm hope I won't need a torch to heat them up to get them out.
Any ideas?

I don't know for sure yet but, Maybe you could find a socket that would fit in there just right and pound it out or something like that. I haven't looked in the manual yet. If i get mine in before you I will post and tell you. Tell me if you do your right away.

Well i just rebuilt my a arms on my quad zilla. I had to remove the bearings to get the arms chromed. I used a socket and a decent hammer. I used a huge amount of force, thinking i was going to replace the bearings. when i had them out, i hadnt even dented them. So i bought some new needle rods and repacked them and reinstalled them....easy
