new suzuki LT-250 ozark. i was hoping for a LT-250R, but this should be a good competitor for the recon. does it come in 4x4? not enough 4x4 250s it seems.

 

id like to know where suzuki pulls these names from. atleast the new 400 has a cool name

 

Suzuki is just using names of mountain ranges For the North American versions of the quads. Vinson and Eiger are somewhere in canada i believe and the Ozarks are here in Missouri.

 

Actually, Vinson is in Antarctica and Eiger is in Switzerland.

The Ozarks range from Missouri just down to where I live. I think the name is ok, but I'm biased. I can't see why there is so much downplay on the 400 though. What the hell did everyone want?

 

It sounds like they wanted an alum framed,fuel injected,light weight,semi-racer 4 stroke that revs to 11,500,produces 40+hp with quality components and cool looks! ALL for 5500.00!!!!!!!!!!!Add about 1000.00 to that and you have a Cannondale! TA-DAAAAAA!

 

Whats so cool about the Z400 name??? Should have stuck with quadracer, but with the specs out, I guess that would have been misleading...
