I personaly think the new Suzuki looks wild. Looks are nice but performance, handling, use of the quad is what counts. Look at a Banshee, they still have the same old style but they still haul a$$. You don't buy a utility quad for its looks do you? You buy a utility quad for work or whatever you want to use it for. I sure as hell didn't buy my TrailBoss for its looks, but it suits my need for work or play.
I am looking to buy a sport quad next year. I might hold off until some of the other companies come out with their quads. These are rumors I have heard or read about.
1. Kawasaki might come out with a new sport quad 450cc and a possible 650?
2. Honda's 450cc on a aluminum frame or the new 650 Rincon motor on a 400ex frame?
3. Polaris's 500cc or 700cc on a light weight double a-arm frame with manual clutch?
4. Artic cat 400cc class sport machine?

As I said some of these I have been told by dealers and some I have read in Magazines. What quad would you like the best?

I may be only 17, but i do know a LITTLE history. Back in the 60's, 4 stroke was the only mx bikes around (those are dirt bikes). The early 2 strokes were very weak, until some genius came up with reeds and fat pipes. Than it was all about the 2 strokes. Than 4 strokes got OHV, than OHC, and now DOHC and 5 valves (titanium on yamaha's). Now people are all 4 stroke. All this time 2 strokes have been gettin better too. Anyways, the point is that there has always been a 2 vs. 4 stroke battle. Don't plan on 2 strokes being banned, they will just get better, as in fuel injection.

That's what happens when a Raptor, DS-650, and 400ex have an orgy.

Nah, just kidding, I think that it looks pretty good to be honest with ya.

Kasea? Isn't that a Korean mini-quad maker? I think they make a dual sport bike. It's a joke of a machine, but it's dirt cheap. I'm pretty sure you can take them off your list.

Honda getting rid of their 2strokes...man there is truly a moron born every minute. First off the CR150 and 230Fs..hahahah replacing the CR80 and 125!!haha!! Go back to the website one more time genius and take another look at those fire breathing MXers.....ahahah, they are replacements for the XR100 and 200 to compete with the TTR Kids line....Honda just spent an a$$ load of money developing their new Electronic power valved motors on the CRs, they aint going anywhere, just like last year was the final year for the CR, you guys remember that? Enviro ***** have been trying to take away our riding forever, the current line of threats aint nothin new, remember 97 was defenitely the last year for the Banshee because of the 2strroke "ban" in California? My buddy just bought a 2002 Banshee and the only time he can't ride it in Cali is when its 115 degrees. Stop spouting garbage and do some research. There is A 4stroke watercraft in each of the manufacturers lines with up to 10 2strokes. Weed eaters are "going 4stroke" because they can with no negative affect, who the hell cares if their weed wacker is a 4stroke? 4strokes will never be widly accepted by Snowmobilers or Watercarft owners, they know what modern 2strokes are like. The manus will put into production what they already have developed. Direct injected, clean burning (cleaner than the YZ426, which by the way won't pass those same EPA Regs you guys seem so proud to regurgitate) 2strokes, they aint going anywhere gentlemen, as long as you people quit jumping ship and stick to your guns.

maybe they are right now but they might just become a major sport quad manufacturer....i mean a twin cylinder 250 isn't really kids stuff.

and bout the 2 strokes gas gas IS releasing their 300cc 2 stroke in 2002. it looks sweet too.

And whoever said that the Yamaha Raptor was the new standard must not have heard about a certain manufacturer that produces quads with aluminum frames and fuel injection. The C-dale is the new standard, and sad to say, unless the big four to introduce something impressive to beat out the C-Dale...It will remain the standard...
