Need Help with '96 KQ
#1
Just Picked Up A '96 KQ with Cycle Country Plow/Manual Lift.
I like to know the best way to remove and store it for easy reattachment.
Never had a plow before.
I'm not sure how to remove it properly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Follow-up:
Once I went outside this AM and looked at it,the job took 30 seconds, boy I feel real stupid, sorry to bother the forum, was just tired last night and didn't look at it real close

fng,
you have yourself a pretty versatile ATV in the King Quad.Make sure to change the oil and filter for this upcoming winter. The transmission is lubed by the engines oil,so a summer weight oil could make the tranny shift harder in the winter months?I recommend a 10w-30 oil for the winter months. And let the engine warm up pretty good before starting out.
Have fun with the King,it'll treat you right!

Thanks Bill,
I'm going to do that this weekend, sure makes sense to me.
It has 785 miles on it,adult owned and well maintained.
I try keeping my equipment A-1, this done it'll treat you right as well
I bought it basically for work, but can see advantages for hunting, it rides so smooth I even went for a nice long putt.I really enjoy it.
Told my wife it is only a tool, but she replied she never saw me smile on a lawn tractor.lol
This winter I'm making a winch assisted front pusher mower deck( using Cycle country front bracket and a old case deck w/10hp engine),might work great for under trees and other hard to get to spots.time will tell.
Thanks Again Bill,
Ron
