First, does the hood cover the gas tank? Second, my steering stem is cracked, I am gonna weld it and sleeve it where it was broke, is this very durable? I had to do this on my old LT but never jumped cause I was afraid of it breaking, should I be aware of anything when doing it?

Ok, nevermind the gas tank question.

My stems been welded between the upper bushing and where the bar clamps to, and so far A-OK, course I only ridden the Zilla' twice. Just try to keep your weight off the bars as much as possible when jumping and it should be fine, especially if you put a sleeve over it..

"To be old and wise you must first be young and stupid" Practice what you preach. I welded the stem on my QZ...then suddenly... 70mph on a rough field the bars came OFF!!!!! The stress that you put on them every time you ride will weaken the weld. Don't take chances with your life...by a new one. (I jumped on the rear break and tried to pull in the clutch, but with the bars being loose this is not easy. Scaryest 15 sec. of my life!!!!!!)

Thanks storm, I am gonna have to do this, just to get the zilla going, but after awhile it will have a LSR stem. (I am only 15 so coming up with all the money is hard, still looking for a job)
