how are these old quads? how are they in terms of top speed, handling, suspension, does it have electric start? etc, how would they compare to a honda 250x, yamaha warrior, or kawasaki mojave

The assume you mean the 250 Quadsport since you compared it to other sport quads. The 250 came out in '89 and had a little more travel than the 230 Sport, different plastic, and an engine bored out to a 250. It was an improvement over the 230 but not a huge one. Unfortunitly the 250 weighed more than the 230.

In the shootouts the Quadsprot didn't rank as high as the other quads you mentioned but that didn't mean it was bad. It just didn't do everything as well as the others. For some reason you don't see as many of the 250 Quadsports as you do the older 230's. At least that is the case where I live.
