Personally I have been eagerly awaiting it for awhile. I think it;ll for Honda to redo the aging 400EX. Whay you Zuki buffs think?

 

I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival. There was one at the Seattle Motorcycle Show -- oh, yeah. Sold my 400ex last month, so all systems are go.

 

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 4 YEARS. I WILL BE ONE OF THE FIRST TO OWN ONE.SOLD MY 1990 LT 500 4 YEARS AGO WHEN I GOT MARRIED BEEN VERY SAD EVER SINCE . I WON MORE TROPHIES THAN YOU COULD PACK IN THE BACK OF A TRUCK .RIGHT NOW NO BODY MAKES A FOUR WHEELER WORTH A CRAP .I BOUGHT A DS 650 ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO . RODE IT ABOUT 2 MONTHS TO WIDE FOR TRAILS TO HEAVY FOR MOTOCROSS. RODE A RAPTER FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND TOLD THE SALESMAN HE COULDN'T GIVE ME ONE,TO SHORT AND TO NARROW WAY TO MUCH MONEY INVOLVED TO GET ONE READY TO RACE. A 400EX THE FIRST TIME I RODE ONE OF THEM I HAD TO ASK THE SALESMAN WAS THE MOTOR BLEW UP BECAUSE IT HAD THE POWER OF A SICK 250R .OWNED A 1998 LAEGER,LRD,250R WITH AXIS SHOCKS AND EVERY GOOD THING MONEY COULD BUY,BUT BACK TO THE WIFE THING SHE WANTS TO GO BACK TO COLLEGE,BYE BYE 250R BY THE WAY THAT IS THE BEST 4-WHEELER THAT WILL EVER BE ON THE MARKET. I WILL RIDE THE 400 UNTIL MY WIFE GETS OUT OF COLLEGE AND THEN IT WILL BE HELLO LAEGER AGAIN WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY THAT'S GONNA BE

 

I can't wait, but I'm going to be patient.
I can't afford to get one and have horifying raptor issues.
And I can't be like a raptor owner and just sit and wait.
When you raptor guys want to jump me, how about sucking it up, yamaha has it in you, when your gears break, thats when they snapp it off in ya!
Stop all mods fix the gear box before it fixxes YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i was thinking about putting one on a payment plan, but im also thinking about getting a brand new sled on payment, like a super sport 550,or somthing withen the 500-700 cc range, but i like the z400, it would be the perfect addition to my quad collection i want to start, then ill have sport-utility, and sport, then i gotta get full utility and ill have a machine for any condition.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] whenever this happens....

 

I am eagerly waiting as well for my new Suzuki to arrive. I put a deposit down about three months at my local dealer and I will get the first two when they come in. I have an '88 250r with a 350 powervalve motor that I'm selling to pay for one of them. I've already checked with some manufactures about a-arms and shocks, but there won't be anything available for a while. I want a long travel front end on my new ride.

 

I already have a down payment on the new Z and will have the first one in my area.

 

I'm going to wait and see how the first year machine holds up and performs. I don't want something like the first year Raptor. I'm also curious what Kawi might be doing (if anything) and Yamaha should be coming out with a replacement for the Warrior at some point. It is nice that we are starting to get some new quads to choose from since the bad old days in the '90s.

 

I figure Kawi will have a 650 Mojavie in a year or so....i don't see yamaha doing anything to the warrior besides scrapping it, it would hurt raptor sales. I don't think the z-400 will have to many problems. Figure zuki's already beat the hell outta it.
