I have a 86 LT250R. The swingarm keeps cracking in several places. Does anyone know if a LT500R swingarm will fit on my Quadracer and if it does will it be stronger? Thanks.

Im not going to say for sure but Im willing to bet that the 2 are NOT interchangable. I know for a fact that the frames are not the same so I would imagine that the places where the swingarm bolts up are in different locations. I do know that the Zillas is about a inch longer, but I wouldnt think that it would be any stronger. You may want to check YSA Racing, they sell a brand new LT 250 swingarm for less than $350, if you have money to blow id suggest one from Lonestar or Duncan.

yeah, its an OEM piece. What kind of riding are you doing that makes you keep cracking the stock one, they are not the best in the world, but they are pretty good.

They won't fit, I wanted to know the exact opposite a month or so ago, you should seriously invest in a LoneStar.

the '87-90 lt250r swingarms will fit the '85-86. but then you have to change all of the other stuff too... bearing carier etc. to fit the box style bearing carier.
lonestar or leagers is the way to go if you're rough on it... for about $700 you get the swingarm and the bearing carier.
sometimes you can find them used... but they are rare.
