riding along this evening around dusk, turned on the lights and the engine died.found the 20 amp main fuse blown, installed the spare and rode home in the dark. When I got to the carport tried turning on the lights again, same results.I have a short in the light circuit, but where,no signs of naked wires are visible.Anyone had this happen before? 99 Quadrunner 250 4x4

Well I checked it this morning, pulled all connectors apart at the lighting circuits, checked for shorts to ground ok checked for shorts between each wire ok.The connectors on the taillight circuit were full of dirt and water so I cleaned them out with some pcb cleaner, pulled the fuse, checked amp draw through fuse holder as I reconnected each connector 1 by 1.Only 4.5 amps with all lights on,so reinstalled the fuse, everthing ok.I guess the mud in the connectors was the culprit.v
