I just picked up the engine about an hour ago... It's great. The head is in better condition than I expected and it came with some extra stuff like some facatory effects suzuki decals I was going to buy new... and clutch cable and perch/lever and twist throttle/grip... lots of good stuff.


this is where the change of plans come in: I think I'm getting a custom made pipe now... maybe even some carbon fiber parts... and I'm getting the cylinder honed (just for good measure)

the bad news is that I'm becoming a little uncertain about my frame modifications... would a cross-member between the bottom motor mounts be good to reduce vibration and improve frame stiffness or would it make things worse and transmit the vibes more...
