Newer, better, faster mods... please help
#1
I have a 88 lt 250r. Im looking for some good mods to boost my speed, but also give me better bottom to mid-range power. I have a pipe and boisen(sp?) reeds, jet kit, but Im looking for more. I want to get a new pipe, go with a bigger piston and some other fun stuff. What do you suggest I do, what brand. ect.

THE pipe to get is LRD adjustable pipe.... at least that's what i've been told from multiple sources. (~$200-300)
other good starts in no particular order:
porting(eric gorr's is the best deal around for a great port job...~$150)
reed block spacer ($30-50)
rad valve (~$130)
bigger carb (~$180-230)
K&N filter & outerwears... my brother eliminated the airbox alltogether and went to a straight slip-on K&N. (~$50)
suspension mods help it hook up better & fit your style of riding when valved properly.(fronts start at ~$300/pair, rebuild/revale/respring the rear by LRD for ZPS ~$300)
axles, extended width help cornering... start at ~$300
A-arms, extended width help cornering... start at ~$500
it all depends on your budget.
hey!!!
