After re-reading your posts, you just might be able to put a small electric motor on the frame and put a sprocket or gear on the kick start shaft, and run a chain to the electric motor, but then the starter shaft wouldn't be able to come back forward........hmmmmm........maybe a small pulley and belt would turn the motor over, yet slip enough to let the kick starter gear go back forward...........of course, you'd hafta re-locate the master cylinder for the rear brakes and probably modify the frame rail so you could make a mount for the motor.......plus put up w/ other riders making fun of you (hey, ya never know)........Welp, there's my brain storm for the night....Good luck!!!......Latah......

I agree with vegas quadracer. I too was looking for a quick fix solution to get my zilla starting. for a while there we used to start it by pushing another quad behind it hehe. Now is found the correct starting drill for my zilla. Solves all your problems...and you can have fun riding! Starts second time everytime...doesnt matter how long its been. Firstly, and i should assume this would go for almost any zilla, dont start your kick from the top of the kick stroke.....start half way down and kick all the way to the foot peg. when you reach the footpeg, the kick starter disengages so you dont have the blasted kick back! On mine, if your start at the top, you go thru 2 compression strokes......bugger that!! I just use one compression stroke to fire it up so i start half way thru. to give you an idea.....i slowly push the kick start down to the bottom (be careful cause the mighty beast mite kick back at you!!) then release it back for three clicks. once you hear the third click, im usually at the start of a compression stroke. i stand on that and kick all the way thru. also, with the throttle, i kick once with the throttle open half way, then kick again with no throttle and it starts idling straight away. I never need the choke! (altho mine is running kinda rich at the moment...mega hot over here!) Hope that helps. Hey all you guys with zillas, post your starting procedure and see how we do it. Give these other guys some helpful advice on getting em started!!

I found the easiest way to start mine is to do as AussieZilla said and to start at three clicks up form the bottom kick on choke once and two more kicks off choke and the beast fires right up!
